To win real change, we need a strong nonprofit organization with the resources to advocate for providers' interest in Salem and across the state.
As an association by and for providers, every dime we spend is decided on by our elected Board of Directors.
Where do membership dues go? Some examples are:
1) Hiring a dedicated lobbyist and sending members to testify at the Capitol and with agency leaders
2) Representing providers' interests in DHS and OHA rule-making (RACs) and workgroups
3) Negotiating a fair contract that lifts rates
4) Offering resources and free training to providers and our staff
“Being a provider is hard enough. By joining together we can win better service payments and push for fair treatment.”
- Lucy Muigai, Fairview
“I am so honored to be part of this group. The vision of representing everyone - Medicaid and private pay - in Salem is inspiring. The help that will be available in education and furthering our businesses is exciting."
- Kim Omley, Grants Pass
“I believe we can create a space where all service providers will be welcomed and supported. Together we can take on Oregon’s Legislature, advocating for provider rights!”
– Sara Lambert, Oregon City
